Start Saving Now!

The times have changed we need to change too
"If problems are on the rise, then the solutions of the past are no longer a good reference or useful."

Get educated before your 25th birthday
Learn the correct concepts in your teens or early 20's so you can take full advantage of the benefits.

Time is our greatest asset
-I don't have a lot of money to invest and save and I need a lot to start. WRONG!
-I'll wait until later to begin saving and invest because the little that I can afford to save now really won't do anything for me in the long run. WRONG!

Will you be prepared when the time of great change comes?
-Do you realize that great change is coming?
-Are you going to plan for it and will you be ready?

About Us

My name is Jim Spiewak II and I am the founder of Financial Young. Financial Young is a FREE resource that allows anyone under 30 (Generation Y) to learn, grow and begin saving. Most people say and write about how American workers are not doing enough to save for retirement. I like to say, "Most American workers do not know early on enough in their life about how to save, and the affects starting earlier has." We have been living in an "instant gratification" world for decades now. Our generation has too often seen our parents buy what they please and borrow to the max. Unfortunately, our generation will not have that same luxury. The times are changing, are you going to change too?

My career as a financial advisor began in Southwest Florida, helping my clients reach their financial dreams. I quickly realized the lack of information and support that went out to our generation when it came to the topic of saving early in life. It wasn't long before I realized the gigantic hurdles our generation will face in the coming decades which led me to create Financial Young.  My responsibility now is to reach out to those who are willing to listen to this important message.  Financial Young gives me that platform in which to do so.

My goal at Financial Young is very simple, Educate, Inform and Inspire.  I understand that we are all extremely busy with school, careers, family and social life, however, my generation does not put enough emphasis on our futures when it comes to retirement planning; and we NEED to. Experienced professionals are not going to seek out our generation and teach them these ideas since our generation does not have "all the money" right now. All of my research has shown that the earlier you begin saving, the more financially sound you'll be later in life.

As a financial advisor, I always used to hear prospects and clients in their 60's and 70's say, "I wish I would have done things differently" and "I wish I knew then what I know now." It does not have to be that way for our generation and it won't be. Use Financial Young to gain perspective into the world of saving. Our generation will get little help from the government and corporations, leaving you with getting out of your retirement accounts only what you put into them.

Enjoy,
