FYI: this information is so deeply buried in the fine print of their websites, it took me 45 minutes to find the fees schedules for these four banks. I guess they don’t want us to know about them. 5/3 Bank: Overdraft: Per item overdraft fees may change based on the number of overdraft occurrences in the past 12 months. For the first occurrence, you will be charged $25 per item. For the 2nd through 4th occurrences, the cost is $33 per item. The fifth occurrence and higher is $37 per item. Bank of America: Overdraft fees are $35 per charge. CitiGroup: $34 overdraft fee per transaction. Wells Fargo: First occasion is $25, and $35 thereafter per transaction in the preceding 12 month period. |
